These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Happening mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Happening. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding agreement with us.

2. Your account

You're responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use. We verify accounts and send account-related messages by email.

3. Your content

You own the photos, videos, and other content you post ("Your Content"). By posting, you grant Happening a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute Your Content within the Service so we can operate it. You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to share it. Because posts are tied to a place and a recent moment, they may expire or be removed from public view over time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• post content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your location or identity;
• violate others' privacy, including posting people without appropriate consent;
• spam, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its security; or
• use location features for stalking, surveillance, or any unlawful purpose.

5. Content moderation

We may review, remove, or restrict content and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community, with or without notice.

6. Intellectual property

The Happening name, logo, app, and underlying software are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our brand or software beyond using the Service as intended.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content posted by others is accurate or appropriate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Happening will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or its users.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
